I will look at and fully diagnose what the problem is without fixing it either by choice of the customer or due to no availability to fix it (not manufactured/no parts/various etc reasons).

- If I am able to repair or proceed with the repair this fee will go away and will instead be replaced by all normal repair and maintenance fees.

Send us your HO diesel locomotive and we'll go through it with regular maintenance items such as:

- Wheel Cleaning

- Wheel Distance Alignment

- Lubrication

- Greasing

- Minor Quick Repairs or Touch-Ups

Send us your HO steam locomotive and we'll go through it with regular maintenance items such as:

- Wheel Cleaning

- Wheel Distance Alignment

- Lubrication

- Greasing

- Drive Rod Lubrication

- Minor Quick Repairs or Touch-Ups

$25 + Parts (if needed)

If your locomotive is just struggling to run beyond what normal maintenance will fix then we move on to this selection.

Send a detailed description of what is broken or not running and we'll do our best to fix it for you.  Your total cost will include the cost of new parts (if any are needed), and you will be contacted prior to those part orders for your approval.

$50 + Parts

This is the extreme overhaul work.  Have a locomotive that isn't running at all? We will work on this to see if we can restore the locomotive to running condition. 

If we determine upon initial inspection it is not repairable then we will only charge the $15 diagnostic fee and will return it back to you.  

Your total cost will include the cost of new parts (if any are needed), and you will be contacted prior to those part orders for your approval.

Reminder: All prices subject to change without warning at JR Hobby LLC's discretion.  Often times negotiations are made that will not match the listed prices to help out those struggling financially (we know this can be an expensive hobby).  Estimates of costs and work will be discussed always and agreed upon first before work is performed.  

Payment is due within 30 days of work performed, all payments must be made in full before item is returned to you, late payments of over 90 days will result in forfeiture of the item to the ownership of JR Hobbies LLC.
